Hello. I picked up Livid not too long ago when I joined a new band, who wanted to see visuals at shows. I'm a self taught graphic artist and videographer and I'm in to fast, heavy music. I've created video now, and am using Livid with mixed results. Our first live show is October 2nd 2009, so I thought I would ask you for any advice you might have for first timers.
I use Sony Movie Studio 8 to create my clips. (What is the best way to save these files?) We're using Livid 2.1, with a Mac G5,6gbRAM. We have 2 x 3100Lumin projectors, and 3 x 40" monitors. We dont have a controller yet, so i plan to just use a qwerty keyboard and mouse, as well as a KORG 12 button midi pad for fades and effects.
Thanks for LIVID. It's the new love in my life.
