Havnt put into new iMac on OSX 10.6, this is on iBook G4 and Emac G4 running OSX 10.5. And are ppc so that's why used driver Osx ppc1.3
ah ok. So when you select Livid Ohm Controller in Union or any other program it doesn't respond? You might want to download Midi Monitor to be sure http://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/ it is not just a software issue.
Only program tried is Union Demo as didn't want to put the Union which comes with my Ohm in these old macs, but wanted to try the controller, and to be able to practise with controller and demo software. I will download MidiMonitor to be sure.
Does it seem like it's a hardware fault with the controller ?? How would this get repaired as unit only bought week ago.??
Nothing happening when MIDIMONITOR is installed ,, everything checked in program,pushing buttons and sliding sliders and NO Activity light on back working or any events in MIDIMONITOR
You can either contact the dealer and swap it out or send it back to us and we can fix it free of charge.
Should I try this on the iMac with snow leopard or from tests you have got me to do, you think it's the controller.
Tried MidiMonitor and it sees the Ohm but doing anything didn't show. Same with CellDNA demo as well...
As so new think should contact dealer, (only received it yesterday). I know I live in the Uk and bought it in France but was only place which sold the Ohm Classic.

I appreciate your help but time is against me as I need this software/controller working for a number of gigs starting week 1 of March.
I didn't expect to have this trouble, so hopefully we can get this sorted as soon as, but thanks for the great support today.

I just had installed 10.6 driver for Ohm classic in a Macbook Pro and after that I cant see nothing in midi setup, tried it twice but not look. Can you help me out?

Did you by any chance install the older driver too?
Nope, it wont work too. The older driver I had is 1.3 intel and ppc just installed it and nothing I cant see the controller in the midi devices
