I discovered that the Novation Launchpad did not meet my requirements as it is only/specifically for Ableton Live...but the OHM64 is very appealing! I want additional control of my hardware rig
Can each of those buttons be programmed individually with MSB/LSB AND program number, and midi channel (similar to the buttons on M-Audio Axiom) ?

Each button can be assigned to any note or control number. LEDs can also be assigned as well.
thnx Jay- I'm still not clear on the answer, though...aside from assigning the midi channel an individual button communicates on, I'm inquiring about THREE other parameters that would also be sent out:
param1 - prog#
param2 - MSB
param3 - LSB
(the order may be different, but you get the idea)
This way I'm selecting a specific bank and program number on specific midi channel.
(other parameters are also specified by MSB/LSB, but I have not got there yet)
I discovered that my Korg padKontrol DOES NOT send out that info either, just note number and midi ch.
Although, I'm pretty certain the OHM no doubt has this capability, but I just need to verify its functionality for certain.

Hi,
Sorry to report, the block and ohm do not output program change buttons. We looked into doing it, but it ended up add more complexity to the firmware. As we refine our products, we will look into that capability in the future.
Also, the channel number is global - it is not possible to set each control to a different channel.

Peter-I appreciate the definitive answer, now I'm disapointed; the visual of the OHM was getting me pretty excited. I guess I just lucked out when I got the M-audio AXIOM, which has THAT capability, when I got it, I wasn't sure exactly how I was going to use it, but it does not have enough buttons for my live application and control of Motif. I look forward to the upgrade, I'm sure it'll happen sooner than we think. I'd be happy to throw in info on my usage scenario for design purposes.
