Mixdown Magazine in Australia recently reviewed the Ohm64 and we are delighted to share it with you here. If you are located in Australia check out our good friends at Kosmic Sounds who stock our controllers. Here is an excerpt.
“I have to say, I do see a lot of new gear turning up all the time, and I am often impressed with quite a bit of it, but it is rare for me to open the packaging of a new piece of kit and literally be jumping with excitement. This does happen though, and did when I got my hands on Livid Instruments OHM64 MIDI controller. Now, there are loads of MIDI controllers on the market, especially now with programs such as Ableton Live having electronic musicians craving more hands on control, but none that I have gotten my hands onto quite offered the flexibility of the OHM64. And none look anywhere near as good either.”

Amazon.de just reviewed the Ohm64 and it appears to be a very good review. We received 3 stars out of 3. I can’t read German, but my German friend says “THEY SAY IT’S GOOD & WORTH THE $!” so I am going to go with that. If I still lived in Hoboken I would go to Helmers for a Wehenstephan Weiss (they also have an amazing saurbraten). But I don’t so hopefully our German users can have one for me.

You can read the full review translated in English by Google here (I am sure some of it will read as nonsense) http://bit.ly/e0kb1 and in German here for those lucky enough to eat red cabbage and potato dumplings on a regular basis http://www.amazona.de
UK based Future Music Magazine has just published a review of the Ohm64. Future Music is available worldwide and if you don’t read it you should, it is a great magazine for anyone interested in electronic music technology. We were particularly excited to be in the ‘How to Fix Your Gear’ issue, we love wires, multi meters, and people working on their own gear. We are also happy about the 4 and 1/2 stars, and working hard at that last star
