This comes in standalone, plugin, and source versions. I did this in Max/MSP 4.6 (the old one) so I can export it as a VST/RTAS/AU plugin, using their dying Pluggo technology.

For Max/MSP users, it’s a good example of how to build a simple sampler in Max/MSP, as well how to use poly~, pattrstorage, build a pluggo plugin (even though it’s on it’s way out, it’s still useful), and standalone. What more could you hope to learn?
